We were honored to be recognized by Kankakee County Treasurer Nick Africano for serving our community through real estate tax collection.

At last week’s Kankakee County Board meeting, Rhonda McGill, Vice President Retail Operations, and Laura Umphrey, AVP Business Banking Officer, attended on behalf of Peoples Bank.

In 2025, Peoples Bank collected more than $9 million in tax payments — the second highest total among banks in Kankakee County. Over the past five years, we’ve collected $38 million for the County.

We’re proud to serve our community and grateful for the trust placed in our team.
