Turning your primary home into a rental property?
Once a home becomes tenant occupied, standard homeowners insurance may no longer be appropriate. Rental property insurance or landlord insurance is designed for income producing use.
When the purpose of the property changes, your dwelling insurance should change with it.

Renovating or flipping a property?
Investment property insurance can help protect the structure during construction or major updates. Renovations increase risk, and proper dwelling coverage ensures your project is not exposed.
Before improvements begin, confirm your property insurance matches your plans.

Own a duplex, triplex, or small apartment building?
Landlord insurance, also known as rental property insurance, is designed specifically for income producing properties. It helps cover the building structure, liability exposure, and certain rental related risks.
If you collect rent, your coverage should reflect that.

Own a lake house or mountain retreat?
Vacation home insurance, also known as dwelling insurance for secondary homes, helps protect seasonal properties that are not occupied year-round. Weather damage, fire, and liability risks do not pause when you are away.
If you own a second home, make sure your vacation property insurance is built for how it is used.

That cabin by the lake or in the mountains is not just a getaway. It is still a property you own and need to protect.
Dwelling insurance can help cover seasonal homes that are not occupied year round. Weather damage, fire, and liability risks do not take time off.
If you own a second home, make sure it is covered like one.

Home insurance is more than just finding the lowest rate.
The right policy should properly cover your home, your belongings, and your liability if something unexpected happens. A cheaper option can sometimes mean gaps you do not see until it is too late.
At Paradox Insurance, we compare carriers to find coverage that fits your home and your needs, not just a price that looks good upfront.

If you own a multi family property for rental income, landlord insurance is built for you.
It helps protect the building itself, covers liability risks, and can help if a covered loss impacts your rental income.
From duplexes to larger multi unit properties, the right coverage helps protect both your property and the income it generates.

Dwelling insurance protects the physical structure of a property you own, even if you do not live in it.
It helps cover damage from things like fire, storms, or other covered losses and is commonly used for rental properties, vacant homes, or secondary residences.
If you own a property that is not your primary home, dwelling coverage may be the protection you need.

It is also a reminder of the importance of responsibility, integrity, and planning for the future.

Dean, our Founder and President, has a passion for the insurance industry. He believes in the way it serves the economic engine of society when there is a disaster or loss, he believes in how it supports the community(ies) in which it functions and lives, and he believes in the people that come together at all levels to make it such a great place to work.
In many cases, the general population looks at insurance as a quick sales pitch or a necessary evil. There are many situations that technology is not as user friendly and still resides on a hidden legacy platform behind the walls of the carrier or the agency. For these reasons and a variety more, it has been difficult to attract new talent into the business.
Dean wants to change all of that.
Insurance is the widget and there are many pieces behind it. It doesn’t have to be the traditional outside sales person knocking on doors or making late night calls. There is a tremendous need for service personnel, office administration, social media specialists, claims adjusters, computer programmers, developers, videographers (at least for the forward thinking crowds!), accountants, and more. Insurance is begging for more participation.
With the overwhelming amount of information available to us, the consumer is more knowledgeable than ever. Of course there will be the need for professional knowledge and advisory roles, but it is the experience of the consumer through the process that will begin to drive the buying decision. They need to feel valued and appreciated before, through, and after the sales process. Technology will help in developing that relationship but not replace it. It is still human nature to fill a need to be known.
How we impact our communities begins with our own internal community, our staff. It is critical to maintain an atmosphere of transparency, equality, and opportunity. This is where people will grow, both personally and professionally, they will contribute and participate. With this base of values, there becomes collaboration and teamwork that results in a better work-life balance. These components are the catalyst that will create a positive impact on the community around us. Making it easier to give back in time and financial resources through both personal and corporate means.
The purpose of Paradox Insurance Agency is to care truly for it's employees, it’s communities, attract and develop new talent into the industry, and create a client journey that “WOWs” you. We seek your input, we want your feedback and your support. If you ever feel that we stray from this purpose, Dean wants to know about it. Please call him to discuss your thoughts personally.
