OPFOR SUMMER SPOTLIGHT

This summer, incoming MS3s CDT Babenko and CDT Arendt served as OPFOR during Advanced Camp Wolverine Lanes and Basic Camp at Fort Knox! 🪖💪

The experience gave them the opportunity to train alongside Cadets from across the country, build their tactical skills, and get an early look at what to expect at CST next summer.

“Being OPFOR this summer allowed me to learn how to work with other Cadets from different schools and use our shared knowledge to prepare for next summer. I also learned about CST and what to expect going into my MS3 year.”
— CDT Babenko

Way to represent the Bronco Battalion! 🐴⚔️

Congratulations to Cadet Nolan Okoniewski on completing Cadet Summer Training Basic Camp at Fort Knox, Kentucky!

As an MSII preparing for his MSIII year, Cadet Okoniewski used Basic Camp to build leadership skills, strengthen his understanding of Soldiering, and challenge himself mentally and physically.

He reflected:

“What I learned most from this experience is what it takes to be a Soldier in the U.S. Army and the challenges it puts before you to find the best version of yourself. It’s never about yourself, but those around you. I’ve learned that I want to be part of that team and continue my Army career moving forward.”

He now looks forward to beginning his MSIII year with Bronco Battalion and returning to Fort Knox next summer for Advanced Camp.

Congratulations and welcome back! 🐴🇺🇸
