Lately, the days have been a little harder. The conversations have been a little tougher. And the challenges of getting people into homes have become a little more complicated.

Not every conversation is good news. Not every loan is easy. And sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, things just don’t work out the way we hoped.

But here’s the thing.

People still need homes. Families still need a place to grow. First-time buyers still have dreams of getting their keys. And homeowners still need someone in their corner to help them navigate the numbers.

So I show up every day, put on a brave face, roll up my sleeves, and do everything I can to make those dreams a reality.

Because behind every loan application is a real person, a real family, and a story that matters.

Some days are harder than others. But the wins? They still make it all worth it.

Just another day in the life of a mortgage guy.

Two very different journeys. One shared goal: building wealth through real estate. 🏡🤙

Izaiah was buying his very first home. Andrea & Ramon brought plenty of homebuying experience as they navigated another PCS move. Both are part of our military community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help them take their next step.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

And right now, the going is definitely tough in real estate. 😅

Watching interest rates move higher is stressful for everyone in this business, but the hardest part is watching what it does to our clients.

Payments go up. Buying power goes down. Plans change. Deals get harder.

And our clients are looking to us for answers, reassurance, and a plan.

Meanwhile, inside, we’re watching rates like… 😬📈

But that’s the job.

Put on the brave face.

Stay calm. Run the numbers. Find solutions. Explain the options. Keep moving forward.

We can’t control interest rates.

We can control how we show up for our clients when things get tough. 💪
