My public warning that IF you have been following me for safe fluffy content... things are about to get a little different up in here.

I have never been one to play it safe. But somehow I have been avoiding the hard stuff and just posting cutesy selfies and stuff like that. & When I talked about the not so amazing times in my life, I felt guilty in a way. As if i am complaining... when so many other people have it worse off than me.

I trive to live a life of gratitude. . . Being grateful for all the simplest things.

When you have a history of hidden trauma like I do, it becomes second nature to smile through the pain and only want to share the positive stuff. Plus I don't want my kids or immediate family to get caught in the middle of things. Like them having to answer uncomfortable questions for instance.

However, I do believe I have to share my story so others can be inspired in their lives to do the same. We also should be talking about life and death. Protecting our lives as well as our finances. And teaching the next generation to do the same.

So here I go!!

In all things I go to Him.

The struggle gets real. So I rely on His word.

We will keep moving forward. He is greater than I. I am so grateful for that. 🙏🏽🙌🏼❤️

My dreams and goals are important. But nothing is as important as my purpose. So, our sustainable compound will come. I look forward to sharing this journey with you all.

And, if today is a struggle for you? Please know you are not alone. In our darkest times Jesus is with us. If you cannot lean on your own Faith, borrow some of mine. I was once lost, and He came after me. Once I learned how to lean in.... I cannot explain the peace that was found within myself.

It was an impressive day of praying through the chaos. All in all, I made it to the evening and I am proud I didnt get into any alterations. I got home to my bed, and am grateful for a roof over my head, food for my children and I, and hope still in my heart.

If you wrestle with your demons too, know you are not alone. Everyone is battling SOMETHING. Some days feel insurmountable. Others are barely tolerable. But in it all, I know God is always with us.
