I love this quote.

Lately, we have been approached by all kinds of people or other professionals who claim that one thing is better than the other. Who are not willing to listen or get educated on something they donʻt know because what they do know is the only thing that matters. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when you want to challenge your opinion cause you feel youʻre right instead of getting educated, then shame on you. And if you are a professional, you are doing a disservice to the clients you are trying to help.

The quote "You don't know what you don't know" is a way of expressing the concept that ignorance often goes unnoticed because if you're unaware of something, you lack the knowledge to recognize its absence.

In other words, there are aspects of the world, information, or experiences that are beyond our awareness simply because we haven't encountered them or haven't been exposed to them yet. This quote underscores the importance of humility, open-mindedness, and continuous learning because it suggests that there's always more to discover and understand.

I like to use this to encourage people and even myself to remain curious, seek new knowledge, and remain open to different perspectives. Iʻm always wanting to learn something new and if it benefits someone I can help, EVEN BETTER!

As we navigate through the ever changing economy, I believe it's valuable for us to reflect on the pivotal decision to become licensed in our respective fields.

What motivated you to pursue your license in the financial industry?

For many of us, obtaining a license signifies a commitment to professionalism, expertise, and ethical standards. It's a significant step that not only enhances our credibility but also equips us with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve our community effectively.

Personally, mine and my wifeʻs journey of getting licensed was driven by a passion for empowering individuals, families, our keiki, and our community to achieve their financial goals. We saw having a license as a means to deepen our understanding of financial concepts, becoming a resource and staying updated on industry trends, and ultimately, make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

However, I recognize that everyone's path is unique, shaped by diverse experiences and motivations.
