If someone hits your car, stay calm and follow these steps to help protect yourself and make the process smoother:

✅ Check yourself and passengers for injuries
🚙 Move to a safe spot if possible
📇 Exchange contact and insurance info with the other driver
🚓 Alert police and file a report
📸 Take photos of the damage and the accident scene
📞 Report the accident to your insurer, even if you’re not at fault
📝 Keep a record of all communications
🤝 Focus on facts, not fault or blame
