Can’t get to your doctor due to the storm? We are working with Teladoc to offer no-cost, 24/7 telehealth visits for anyone impacted by the hurricane – even if you are not a member.

Clinicians can help with non-emergency conditions such as allergies, cold, flu and sinus problems. They also can prescribe some that are not controlled substances.

Call the Teladoc hotline at 855-225-5032. (You must call the hotline, even if you’re a Florida Blue or Truli for Health member, to avoid being charged the regular fee.) This service is only for non-emergency situations. If you have a true emergency, please call 911. Services are available for members who have hurricane-related issues.

Hurricane Ian has devastated parts of southwest Florida and communities throughout our coverage area. We stand ready to support our members and communities with $1 million in donations to local organizations that will allocate funds to those with the greatest need. Florida Blue and our parent company, GuideWell, will work with partners such United Way affiliates, the American Red Cross and community foundations to aid in recovery efforts. We encourage those who want to join us in providing relief efforts to consider donating to the American Red Cross.

Due to Hurricane Ian, we have lifted restrictions on early prescription drug refills to allow our members to get a 30-day emergency supply of their medications from in-network pharmacies. Members who go to an out-of-network pharmacy may not be able to fill their prescriptions early.

We encourage anyone who may be in the path of Hurricane Ian to have at least a two-week supply of medication on hand.
