Here is what I am working on at this moment:

I am working to create a culture of progress...

and I am working to get away from a culture of comparison...

Here is the deal, I have come so far. I have already lived an amazing life. This past 12 months I have travelled less and worked more than I have in any year in the past 20 years. Why? Because it was time for me to learn some new things. It is time for me to gain new perspectives and tools for the road ahead. My goals have changed. My desires have changed. My mindset is ever changing.

I cannot sit and compare my life to those around me. Just cannot do that. Instead, I need to focus on the journey and progress of where I came from and where I am going.

I am surrounded by so many high producers. Guys who are rescuing thousands of kids from slavery...guys who are getting their own TV shows....guys who are blowing up on social media and selling courses....guys who are flipping more houses and making more money than me. It drives me being with these guys. But....BUT!... I have my own journey. God is taking me to my own place to do my own things. And the progress I am making is massive! Even though it appears it does not compare to some others. Look out world! The rubber band is being stretched and it is about to snap and launch this guy further than ever before.

Until then, I pray. I seek God. I wait for Him. And choose to live in a culture of progress, not comparison.

Spring is one of my favorite times of year! Everything is so green and lush and alive. For several months, things have been dormant and dead. But Spring brings revival. The rain comes. You can mow the grass yesterday, it rained today, and the grass will have grown a lot by tomorrow.

Our lives are just like this. We go through seasons. we go through hard times and our life can appear in neutral. Like we’re dormant. Or looking to some that we’re dead. All the while we’re just sitting there waiting for the rain to come. Waiting to sprout and produce the most fruit we’ve ever produced.

Don’t be concerned if you’re in a season of neutrality. Don’t be concerned if you are fighting some battles today. Most of the time you’re fighting a giant so that you can get through an open door. Keep on fighting. Keep on growing. But most of all be grateful and thankful for every season .

2 more houses under contract this week!

Mindset is everything! What you focus on expands. One day, I’ll be able to tell the whole story of the past two years. I’ll save that for another day. But even in the middle of success, there will always be battles for your mind.

Last week I made the decision to focus more on acquiring more houses. I also decided to quit personally working on the houses and let the professionals do it. 

It was a successful week on all fronts! Sometimes you just need to tweak your thinking.

I have been spending the last couple weeks, decluttering at my house, my office, and other areas of my life. Feel so good to get organized.

Today as I’m having my quiet time, I realize that not only can our mind to get cluttered, and I have a solution below to help you with that, our spirit man can get very cluttered up. it is important for us to focus on keeping the spirit man clean and in tune with the Father. Things can come in our spirit, and they don’t even have to be sin, and yet they still distract us, and create disconnect between us and God. If you’re feeling that disconnect declutter your spirit today. 

As far as decluttering your mind, I have a simple exercise I do anytime I start feeling overwhelmed or when I have too much on my mind. It’s called a brain dump. Basically a brain dump is just dumping everything that’s on your brain onto a sheet of paper or the note section of your phone. It’s sitting down and saying OK what is on my mind, what do I have to do, what is expected of me now, what are my deadlines, bills, etc., and make a list. Take that list and prioritize it based on importance and deadline. Trust in that process of writing that down to be able to look at that and complete those tasks or that list one step at a time.

Going to be another busy week!

Wrapping up a New build and also a remodel in Whitney. Remodel will be priced under 200k. Cute old completely remodeled house.

Whitney Lake house project is progressing slowly. The Burleson flip is on fire and moving quickly during the demo phase. Cleaning with disinfectant and starting Sheetrock this week. 5 weeks to go! This one will be popular for sale!

Also if the ground will dry out we will be pouring the slab on the Granbury Lake house new build.

Surveys being completed, financing being setup to finance the new builds, and so much more!

This is just the beginning. I’m ready. Let’s go!
