Two years ago, I had the privilege of being elected President of the Will County Estate Planning Council. Last month, I attended my final meeting in that role and officially concluded my service on the board.
One of the most valuable lessons from this experience is that the best planning outcomes rarely come from one professional working alone.
Whether it’s a family planning the transfer of wealth, a business owner preparing for a transition, or an individual updating their estate plan, the strongest results come when attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs, trust professionals, and other specialists collaborate toward a shared goal.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside incredibly talented professionals throughout our community. Those relationships and perspectives have made me a better resource for the clients and organizations I serve.
I’m grateful to the members of the Will County Estate Planning Council for their dedication to continuing education and professional collaboration and I look forward to staying involved and building on these relationships in the years ahead.
