Our team is excited to begin preparing for the 2027 Medicare Annual Open Enrollment period by attending our first insurance carrier meeting last week with Highmark BCBS.

Today's spotlight is on Teri Fisher, Administrative Services, in our Johnstown, PA office.

Teri has been a valued team member of The Health Insurance Place for nearly 15 years and is one of the key people who helps keep everything running behind the scenes.

She plays an important role in keeping the office running smoothly, handling many behind-the-scenes tasks and transactions that support our daily operations. Teri also provides essential support to our agents, helping them better serve our customers and deliver an outstanding experience.

We appreciate all she does to support our team and our clients!

MEET TERI!
I’m proud to have served in the administrative services department in our Johnstown office for the past 15 years. In my role, I oversee accounts payable and receivable. I take pride in keeping our financials accurate and running smoothly. Other aspects of my job include expense reporting, 1099 reporting, payroll support and timekeeping processes to name a few.

Around the office, I’m often known as the “Office Mom.” I wear my heart on my sleeve and believe in creating a warm, supportive environment for everyone. I love helping our team and our agents succeed, and I’m always happy to lend a hand or offer encouragement when it’s needed.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and the outdoors. Spending quality time with my family, especially my adult children, is my greatest blessing. I also love getting together with friends to play games, go on a hike, enjoy a game of pickleball, share some laughs, and make great memories.

A firm believer that kindness, laughter, and teamwork make every day better.

Make sure to keep up with your yearly Wellness visit! It’s a conversation-based visit with your doctor to create a plan to help you stay healthy. You can talk about family and medical history, develop a screening schedule, and create your prevention plan.
