Today was more than just the first day of a financial literacy class—it was our mission in action. ❤️📚

We had the privilege of beginning our Financial Literacy Program with the junior and senior students of Bishop McCort High School, teaching them practical lessons about saving, investing, compound growth, inflation, and preparing for their financial future.

At Johnstown Financial Center, we believe financial education should not begin when someone is already struggling—it should begin early, before life’s major financial decisions are made.

That’s what makes our mission different. We don’t just want to do business in our community. We want to make a difference in our community. We want to educate, inspire, and empower people with knowledge they can carry for a lifetime.

If we can help one student make better financial decisions, that knowledge can someday impact an entire family—and eventually, a generation. 🌱

💙 September is Life Insurance Awareness Month — and this one is personal for me.💜

In 2019, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. One diagnosis. One moment. And suddenly, I was reminded just how quickly life can change.

Going through cancer changed the way I look at protection. Life insurance isn’t simply about a policy or a death benefit—it’s about making sure the people you love have financial security when life doesn’t go according to plan.

We often think, “I’ll take care of it later.”
But sometimes, life changes before “later” comes.

That’s why I encourage families to understand their options and put proper protection in place while they can. Protect your income. Protect your children’s future. Protect the dreams you’ve worked so hard to build.

My experience strengthened my mission: to help families prepare before it’s too late. ❤️

Because life is unpredictable—but we can prepare for it.
