There is freedom in remembering that what we have has been entrusted to us.

Our abilities. Our influence. Our relationships. Our work. Our resources. None of these begin with us, and ultimately, none belong to us.

That changes the question we bring to God. Instead of asking, “What do I want to do with what I have?” we can ask, “Lord, why have You entrusted this to me?”

Faithfulness may look different in every season. Sometimes God entrusts us with abundance and opportunity. Other times, He entrusts us with people who need our care, decisions that require courage, or circumstances we never would have chosen.

Our responsibility isn’t to control every outcome. It’s to seek the Owner, listen for His direction, and faithfully steward what He has placed in our hands today.

“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2

P R A Y E R
Father, thank You for everything You have entrusted to me. Remind me that You are the Owner and I am the steward. Give me wisdom to recognize what You are asking of me in this season and courage to follow where You lead. Help me hold Your gifts with open hands and use them faithfully for Your purposes and the good of others. Amen.

A great night supporting an even greater cause!

We had an amazing time attending the New Day annual fundraising banquet last Thursday, where they raised an incredible $48,000!!! 🎉

It was so nice to get together and lift up an organization that’s doing great things for the kids, families, and community of Johnstown.

On Saturday, October 3 we're setting aside three hours to change that. The Christian Stewardship Summit is a free morning at Oakland Church in Johnstown. Two tracks run side by side: one on planning for and living in retirement, one on budgeting for your household and your church. You can move between them.
