This week’s IBA Member Spotlight highlights Nick Heffron with Midwest Heritage Bank!

With a strong focus on relationship building, Nick Heffron approaches lending by taking the time to understand each customer beyond their financial statements. In his role as an ag and commercial lender for Midwest Heritage Bank, he focuses on learning the ins and outs of customers’ operations and strives to truly know the people behind the numbers. Outside of the office, Heffron enjoys farming with his family, which helps him disconnect and stay grounded with hands-on work.

This week’s IBA Member Spotlight highlights Landon Wurzer with First Citizens Bank!

Landon Wurzer is a credit analyst at First Citizens Bank and says there’s more to his role than people may realize. Between internal evaluations and reviewing appraisals, he deals with residential properties more than people might think. Wurzer said the best piece of career advice he’s received is to be open and honest with customers to avoid wasting time and that honesty earns respect. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with friends.

Time for this week’s moment from Peoples Savings Bank!🎉

Peoples Savings Bank, based in Wellsburg, recently made a $30,000 donation to the Reinbeck Public Library for their remodel project, a $25,000 donation to Gladbrook-Reinbeck Schools PTO for their inclusive playground project, and a $10,000 donation match to the Reinbeck Park Board to repair the community pickleball, basketball and tennis courts.
