Wow. Are you wishing the max $7,500 IRA annual contribution was more? If you make good money and your problem is you need more write off’s and you are self-employed: You better be writing off at LEAST $72,000 in your retirement plan! If not, we need to talk, PRONTO. Talked to a soon to be new client that makes around $400,000 per year and wrote a $100,000 check to Uncle Sam. This is preventable!

This may not be obvious to everyone but if you or someone you know are perhaps still working and not collecting your Social Security monthly benefit and are age 70... YOU ARE WASTING YOUR BENEFIT. You do not get retroactively paid past 6 months. It will no longer grow each year besides the cost of living increases (COLA). Please let us know if you need help turning it on.
