Big changes are coming to home appraisals! 🏡

Beginning November 2, 2026, the appraisal process will transition to UAD 3.6 bringing more data, more detail, and more transparency to residential appraisal reports.

For real estate agents, one of the biggest takeaways is simply this...the details matter. Accurate MLS information, documented renovations and improvements, seller concessions, property features, ADUs, and even when updates were completed can all play an important role in the new reporting structure.

The appraisal itself isn't going anywhere, but the way property and market information is collected and presented is changing significantly.
