Big News for 2027! Cigna just announced they are not going to offer individual plans for 2027. This means if you have an individual Cigna plan through the marketplace, you will have to find a different plan for next year. This does not affect their Medicare plans!

The Health Insurance enrollment period runs from Nov 1- Jan 15. So if you have Cigna or know someone that has Cigna we will need to find another option in Nov for next year!

Having a network with a Medicare plan is nothing new. Your employer coverage was likely a PPO or HMO too, and it had networks.

Medicare works in a similar way, just with a few differences to understand. Stay informed and stay confident.

PPO vs HMO ~ what you need to know! In an emergency situation, networks do NOT apply. That means whether you have a PPO or an HMO, you’re covered for emergency care, even outside your network.
