Thank you to everyone who stopped by to celebrate International Credit Union Day with us! 💚

We had a great time catching up with our members over cups of warm boiled peanuts and a few goodies to take home. Seeing so many familiar faces (and a few new ones) reminded us what this day is really about.

We're gearing up for Credit Union Day on October 15, and it's got us thinking about what makes AFCU different from a typical bank. It's not the size of our buildings or the number of branches. It's the fact that you're not just an account number here, you're a member.

That means when you walk in, we know your name. When you call, you talk to a real person. And when it comes to decisions about rates, fees, or new programs, we're thinking about what's best for members and this community, not shareholders somewhere else. That's the credit union difference, and it's something we get to prove every single day.

As Teller Appreciation Week comes to an end, we want to say one more thank you to the people who make every visit a good one. 💚

This week gave us a reason to celebrate them, but the truth is we appreciate our tellers all year long. They greet you with a smile on busy Mondays and slow Fridays alike. They take the time to listen, answer your questions, and make sure you leave feeling taken care of.

That kind of care doesn’t happen one week a year. It happens every day, and our members feel it.

So the week may be wrapping up, but our gratitude isn’t. Next time you stop by, let your teller know they’re appreciated.

It's Teller Appreciation Week, and we're celebrating the friendly faces you see every time you stop by. 💚

Our tellers do a lot more than handle transactions. They remember your name, ask about your family, and take the time to make sure you leave with your questions answered. They go the extra mile every single day, whether you're in the lobby or the drive-thru.

Hands down, they are some of the best people we know. To us, they're all that and a bag of chips, and we're grateful for the care they show our members.

Next time you visit, help us celebrate. A simple "thank you" means more than you know.
