🚨IMPORTANT JCBA GIFT CERTIFICATE INFORMATION--PLEASE READ IN FULL & SHARE🚨

📣FOR PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES-PLEASE SHARE WITH ALL EMPLOYEES ASAP!!!!!:

‼️To accept our gift certificates, please accept as legal tender (whether that's cash or a certificate option, up to you) in your system AND TURN IN TO JCBA OFFICE FOR REIMBURSEMENT!!! Do not TEAR up or THROW away or I cannot issue you a check for reimbursement. The way the certificates work are to keep spending local at Jersey County businesses. We want people to come buy products at your business, so we reimburse you. IT IS NOT A HIT YOUR BUSINESS IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE BECAUSE YOU ACCEPT THEM! Ex. Person buys a JCBA gift certificate, that money is deposited into a gift certificate fund. Person comes to your business and spends $25 gift certificate. You accept as legal tender. You write on the back your business name as place of redemption. You DROP off or MAIL to JCBA office. I issue you a check from that gift certificate fund. The money circulates while bringing people through your door.
‼️GIFT CERTIFICATE AMOUNTS HAVE TO BE ACCEPTED IN THE FULL AMOUNT!! No change can be left on a certificate or we don't know what amounts were spent at separate businesses (another issue when reimbursing). Ex. if someone tries to use a $20 gift certificate for a $10 item, POLITELY do not accept as $10 CANNOT be left remaining.

📣FOR PUBLIC USING A GIFT CERTIFICATE AT A PARTICIPATING BUISINESS WHO RECIEVED AS A GIFT:

‼️Our gift certificates DO NOT expire. However, again remember to only use your certificate in the full amount. It is NOT a normal gift card that you can reuse. Only use when your total transaction is EQUAL to or GREATER than the amount on your gift certificate.
‼️Participating businesses are SUBJECT TO CHANGE, so please come into the office for an updated list of participating business, or check our website for a digital list.
