There has been a high volumne of debit card fraud by Lyft; thieves using stolen debit card information when scheduling their ride. Based on our experience, Lyft will not refund this money regardless of evidence of facts. And, since the transactions are below the minimum amount that most financial institutions are required to dispute and/or refund, you could be out hundreds of dollar. And, since you're unable to delete a previously entered debit or credit card off of the Lyft app; your only choice will be to ask your financial institution to hot card your card, and order you a new card. If it helps - we have not experienced any fraudulant activity by the merchant Uber.

We've had several members debit cards being fraudulantly used at multiple Wal-Marts in and around Austin TX. Falcon, our fraud prevention service provider, is doing a good job blocking these transactions. However, if your debit card suddenly stops approving transactions this weekend, it could be that Falcon has blocked the card, and is unable to reach you. If you think this might be the case; here's the number to Falcon 888-241-2440. You might be able to call Falcon and inquire whether or not your card has been temporarily blocked, and if so, verfiy the transactions.
