Last Friday, Callicoon Cooperative hosted our August Board of Directors meeting, followed by our Annual CCIC Picnic! 🇺🇸🦃

The team broke out our patriotic Callicoon T-shirts and enjoyed some delicious BBQ from Big Kev’s, along with a great afternoon of fun and fellowship with our colleagues and Board members.

It was a beautiful day and a great opportunity to spend some time together outside the office!

Here’s a shot of the CCIC staff from the picnic—minus Miranda and Brenda, who were off and missed! 📸

for a state known for producing some delicious maple syrup!

So, how do you top your waffles—classic maple syrup, fruit, whipped cream, chocolate chips, or something else?

Today, we celebrate Never Give Up Day by honoring the fortitude and foresight of the founders of Callicoon Cooperative, who embodied that spirit nearly 150 years ago.
Faced with the challenge of protecting their properties from devastating losses, they came together as a community, worked collaboratively, and never gave up. In doing so, they created a community-minded insurance company dedicated to protecting what matters most.
Nearly 150 years later, we’re proud to carry their vision forward and continue living that mission every day. Protecting what matters most—then, now, and for generations to come.
