As the college students are headed back to school, we want to give a big THANK YOU to our 2026 Summer Intern Blake Richardson.
Blake came in prepared with Property/Casualty and Life/Health licenses already under his belt. A Silver Creek Graduate, he is currently in his Junior year at Ball State University studying Insurance and Risk Management. He has made a real impact throughout the summer.

Proud to be part of his journey, help teach him the ropes and excited to see where he goes next. It's young people like Blake that gives me confidence in our future leaders. Go be great Blake!!

7/31/26 The last day of July and the ending/beginning for two great guys!

Carson Thomas started working part time in our Sellersburg office while he finished up his Senior year at Henryville High School. He was smiling and dialing for quotes, one of the toughest jobs in our office. But nothing happens until we find a potential customer. Carson is a fine young man, coachable, funny and a joy to be around. He leaves us to explore the world of sales elsewhere and we hope we've given him a great start. Carson is pictured in the middle with our Sellersburg Team.

Jason Wade, 12-year State Farm Agent in Salem, steps away from his office today to become our regional Sales Leader. We will still be working with Jason on an ongoing basis. His dedication to his team, customers and community will be multiplied in this new role. Our team will be assigned as Temporary Servicing Agent until State Farm can make an official agent decision. I am applying to fill that role and look forward to supporting the team and customers during the transition. Jason is pictured below with longtime team members Sue (45years w SF) and Lacy (12 years w SF), respectfully.

Congratulations to our Commit to Care Award Winner Annie Smith!

Annie joined The Bryan Jackson Team at State Farm in April as an Account Manager, and she’s already made a real impact. What stands out most about Annie is how much she genuinely loves helping people — whether it’s walking a customer through their coverage or easing their worries after a claim, she treats every person like they matter, because to her, they do.

Annie lives in Sellersburg with her husband, Corey, and their three girls. It’s this same sense of care she brings home every day that shows up in her work, and it’s exactly why she’s earned the Commitment to Care award. We are so glad she is on our team!

We had some visitors stop by the office yesterday. Basketball is king in Indiana and these two guys are LEGENDS! Jeffersonville Boys Basketball Coach Sheron Wilkerson and Athletic Director/Girls Basketball Coach AJ Moye.

We talked coaching, basketball past and present, lots of laughs and we ended by praying together. These two have the opportunity to impact many young people in our community. I shared this verse with them as an encouragement for the upcoming season.

"Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

Today is a BIG Day and a long time coming. We have outgrown our location, again!

We have officially, “Broke ground” on a new Jeffersonville office building. We are moving across the parking lot from our existing office.

It's official Molly's 1st day at Dad's office. We are now 3 for 3, all the kids have been able to experience working at our State Farm Office. Molly is super sweet and will pay attention to every detail. I'll love seeing her smiling face all summer.

Looking for a reason to be insured by State Farm, here's one from a current customer:

I just wanted you to know about an experience I had with the Ting sensor. I got a notice on June 1st that they detected a fire safety hazard that required immediate attention. I called them right away. Through several phone calls and conversations with their staff, we were able to resolve the situation. It seems that a table lamp that I bought for mom over 40 years ago, was causing an electrical arcing at night when I turned it on. They were extremely helpful in walking me through the process to identify where the hazard was located. I am so grateful that we had the Ting and found the hazard before it caused a fire. Another good reason to be a State Farm policy holder. Thanks for all that you and your staff do for us.

State Farm is offering free Ting Sensor devices to qualified policyholders in participating states.

Congratulations to our Team Member Blake and his wife Veronica on the new addition to their family. Little Elanroa May was born 4/20/26 at 5:36 pm. 19.5" and 7 lbs 4 oz.
