I got to meet a local reality TV celebrity today!

**Timber from Season 11 of *Alone*!** 🌲

Our family watched that season and was pulling for Timber to finish as the winner. He made it an incredible **84 days alone** and finished as the runner-up.

He had plenty of exciting and memorable moments during the show, and we’ll always remember his “tap-out speech.” But what really made our family BIG Timber fans was Episode 10, when he shared **Psalm 27**:

**“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”**

Pretty cool getting the opportunity to meet someone we spent so many evenings watching and rooting for from our living room!

Great meeting you, Timber! 👊🌲

🏗️ **We’re making progress on our new building!**

The walls are up, the windows are installed, and our sign is officially up to let everyone know — **we aren’t moving far, just next door!** 😄

Last week, the team took a walk over to check out the progress, and they’re already staking their claims on which offices they want! 😂

We’re excited to watch everything come together and are looking forward to having a great new space to better serve our customers at our **Jeffersonville office**.

Stay tuned — we’ll keep sharing updates as we get closer to move-in day! ❤️🏠

🤠 This kid is ALL SMILES when he starts talking about his rodeo skills!

Reid came right into the office and asked us to sponsor the Southern Indiana Jr. Rodeo. I mean… who could say no to that?! 😂

He even brought us an action shot of himself riding a calf at a recent event. When I asked what he had planned for the upcoming rodeo, he told me he wants to **wrestle a steer** — if his parents allow it! 🐂

So naturally, I asked if he had any siblings he could practice wrestling with.

His response: **“Yeah, but my little brother just goes to the concession stand.”** 😂😂

Fair enough, Reid!

We’re proud to support Reid and the **Southern Indiana Jr. Rodeo**. Good luck, buddy — we’ll be cheering you on! 🤠🐂

🤠 Well, howdy… we’ve got some good news! 🤠

Ashlynn and Annie are saddled up and ready to share some exciting news with our State Farm customers!

We love being able to share good news with our customers — especially when it means money coming back your way!

Keep an eye out for more information, and as always, give our office a call if you have questions.

As the college students are headed back to school, we want to give a big THANK YOU to our 2026 Summer Intern Blake Richardson.
Blake came in prepared with Property/Casualty and Life/Health licenses already under his belt. A Silver Creek Graduate, he is currently in his Junior year at Ball State University studying Insurance and Risk Management. He has made a real impact throughout the summer.

Proud to be part of his journey, help teach him the ropes and excited to see where he goes next. It's young people like Blake that gives me confidence in our future leaders. Go be great Blake!!

7/31/26 The last day of July and the ending/beginning for two great guys!

Carson Thomas started working part time in our Sellersburg office while he finished up his Senior year at Henryville High School. He was smiling and dialing for quotes, one of the toughest jobs in our office. But nothing happens until we find a potential customer. Carson is a fine young man, coachable, funny and a joy to be around. He leaves us to explore the world of sales elsewhere and we hope we've given him a great start. Carson is pictured in the middle with our Sellersburg Team.

Jason Wade, 12-year State Farm Agent in Salem, steps away from his office today to become our regional Sales Leader. We will still be working with Jason on an ongoing basis. His dedication to his team, customers and community will be multiplied in this new role. Our team will be assigned as Temporary Servicing Agent until State Farm can make an official agent decision. I am applying to fill that role and look forward to supporting the team and customers during the transition. Jason is pictured below with longtime team members Sue (45years w SF) and Lacy (12 years w SF), respectfully.

Congratulation Carson and Jason! We wish you both the BEST!

Congratulations to our Commit to Care Award Winner Annie Smith!

Annie joined The Bryan Jackson Team at State Farm in April as an Account Manager, and she’s already made a real impact. What stands out most about Annie is how much she genuinely loves helping people — whether it’s walking a customer through their coverage or easing their worries after a claim, she treats every person like they matter, because to her, they do.

Annie lives in Sellersburg with her husband, Corey, and their three girls. It’s this same sense of care she brings home every day that shows up in her work, and it’s exactly why she’s earned the Commitment to Care award. We are so glad she is on our team!

We had some visitors stop by the office yesterday. Basketball is king in Indiana and these two guys are LEGENDS! Jeffersonville Boys Basketball Coach Sheron Wilkerson and Athletic Director/Girls Basketball Coach AJ Moye.

We talked coaching, basketball past and present, lots of laughs and we ended by praying together. These two have the opportunity to impact many young people in our community. I shared this verse with them as an encouragement for the upcoming season.

"Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
