First Peoples Bank of Tennessee Your local community bank. Proudly serving you since 1975! First Peoples Bank is the oldest and only bank housed in Jefferson County.

First Peoples Bank was organized in 1974 and opened for business January 2, 1975, as First Peoples Bank of Jefferson County, with a total of six employees. The bank operated in a portable building until it moved into its present Jefferson City office in May 1976. In early 1994, First Peoples Bank of Jefferson County officially changed its name to First Peoples Bank of Tennessee. First Peoples Bank

has dedicated its services and long-term mission to "Putting People First." What does putting people first mean to us? Our vision statement may clear that up:
