We had a fantastic time at the Annual Meeting on Friday, September 25th. The evening featured a delicious barbecue meal catered by Cunningham’s of Atkins and provided an opportunity to conduct important county business related to agriculture. Members enjoyed fellowship while celebrating with young Newton County FFA and 4-H members, who received Award Buckles for their achievements at the recent Newton County Fair and Livestock show. The buckles were sponsored by Agency Manager, Frankie Breedlove!

It’s been brought to our attention that the Annual Meeting cards that have been sent out to our members have the wrong date. The Annual Meeting will be held Friday, September 25th at 6:30 p.m. at the Carroll Electric Building in Jasper! New cards will be sent out with the correct date. We hope to see you there!

The Newton County Farm Bureau Board approved a request from Julie Campbell of the Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, to participate in the Arkansas Community Cultivations Program by making a monetary donation to each of the four Newton County schools for their Food Pantry Program.
