One of the things I value most with every year that passes in this career is how much more I've leaned into showing up in this role in a way that feels genuine to me.

Financial planning is deeply personal, & I never take lightly the trust placed in me or the impact these decisions have in their lives. Every year brings more experience, continued learning, intentional growth, & a deeper understanding of who I am in this role & how I serve my people best.

Just like any professsion, the right fit matters. Not every approach connects with everyone & it shouldn't. So here it is, an update on what I do, how I approach it, & how I aim to serve & carry myself through it.

If you connect with it, great. I'd genuinely love to talk!

I like to think of your financial world like a puzzle.

There are a lot of pieces that come together to create the bigger picture of your life.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that a "Financial Plan" is just one piece of the puzzle. In reality, many people simply don't know what pieces they already have, or what may be missing.

Before you can confidently move forward, we first see what the full puzzle looks like.

That's why my first meeting with clients is really about asking questions & getting to know your full picture first..

➡️ What pieces do you already have in place?
➡️ Are they working together the way they should?
➡️ Are there gaps that could make a big difference in your goals?

The goal is to help you put pieces together in a way that feels clear, connected, & meaningful to you.

Let's talk about it.

You don't need to be perfect with your money to make real progress..

But you do need to start paying attention to what's quietly working against you.

A lot of people think financial improvement means a complete overhaul.. strict bugets (yuck, I hate that word), cutting everything fun (no thanks), & doing it all "right" (what does right even mean?)

That's not realistic, & it's not always necessary. Progress usually starts much simpler..
👉 Getting clear on where your money is actually going
👉 Catching small habits that add up
👉 Creating your structure to be strong & durable & resilient

Like most other things, it's about awareness & consistency. Because when your cash flow has structure, everything feels different.
🌟 Less stress
🌟 More control
🌟 Better decisions without overthinking

You don't need perfect. You just need a system that leaks less than it did yesterday. Start there. The rest builds naturally with you.

Ran across this post & couldn't help but think about how grateful I am to be doing this work with my clients & for all the moments they introduce me to other people they care about after we've worked together.

One of my intentions as your financial professional is to create a trusting & comfortable space for you to talk about something that often is very vulnerable & confusing.

& that throughout doing work together, you feel how I advocated for you & your financial world that you become an advocate for all the other people you care about to also do this work with me in their corner.

I never take lightly the way clients bring others into this world & there is no greater feeling then knowing it impacted them enough to impact others.

Thankful for it all 🫶

International Women's Day always gives me a moment to reflect on the conversations I have with women in this space..

I meet brilliant, capable women who are leading companies, raising families, building careers, & supporting others yet often feel like they don't have a trusted place to turn when it comes to their financial future. Not because they aren't capable, but because the industry hasn't always offered them a voice, a guide, or a space that truly feels welcoming.

One of the things I value most about the work I do is getting to be a part of changing that. Helping create conversations where women feel empowered to ask questions, share goals, & talk opening about their financial lives.

Not perfectly. Not all at once. But with no pressure & no judgement. Just support, education, & partnership along the way.

I'd love to connect, whether it's a conversation, a question, or simply sharing resources. My door is always open & I'm ready to be in your corner.

Why do I have Disability Insurance as a piece of my full financial plan??

Because this is what I consider fun & crave more of ⛰️

Just kidding, but I guess not really..

Disability Insurance protects your biggest asset, your ability to have an income. The money that funds everything else on your balance sheet & life. Disability Insurance keeps the integrity of the rest of your plan.

You don't have to be like me & enjoy walking on the edge of a mountain in order for it to make sense to look into..

Things you may not think of with disability..
👉 90% of disabilities come from illness, not injury
👉 1 in 4 people in their working career become disabled to some degree
👉 personal disability policies allow you to build them in a way you want, so they can fit better in your plan than you might imagine
👉 coverage through work still may leave a gap you can cover personally (or do you even have coverage through work?

Most people overlook this piece of a financial plan more many reasons.. it may not sound important now, but for anyone who has been disabled in their life, they normally wish they looked into it earlier..

Here's my two asks..
1️⃣ Send me a message if you're open in seeing what this means for you
2️⃣ If you've hiked somewhere I HAVE to visit, please tell me where so I can add it to my list 😊

When finances feel tangled, the right conversation can change everything.

Confusing. Overwhelming. Easy to put off.

You don't have to sort it out alone, which sometimes feels like the biggest step.

My role is to sit beside you, listen first, organize the noise, & guide to untangling the financial decisions that are running through your mind.

You don't have to find the perfect words, perfect questions, or know exactly what pieces you should have, that's what I'm here for.

If you’ve been thinking, “I should really talk to someone about this,”
this is your sign. Let's break it down together..

Life happens, & things that we don't always expect or want to happen.

Similarly in the game of basketball, like when your point guard goes down in the 4th quarter.. 😬

It requires adjustment & composure, & hopefully, there were plans in place that would be ready to handle these situations.. Plans to carry you through the situation (get it🤭)

➡️ If you're lucky, you have a coach that prepared & put protection in place for these uncontrollable moments

(like making sure practices included others in the role who were ready to step up & adjust with the circumstance.. )

Your Financial world DESERVES protection ➡️allowing you to continue to grow & move forward knowing that when an uncontrollable moment happens, we don't crumble (& you can still win the game)

Do you have pieces in place that will help carry you through those moments?

If you haven't been given the chance to think about that, now is the time. Make it a goal moving into 2026 that you'll protect your Financial world (or be open to having the conversation on what that actually means for you)

Disclaimer: This is not me promising to LITERALLY carry you like this picture may deceive.. Although, part of my goals for 2026 now include lifting heavier because the rest of my basketball girls expect this now.. 💪

Coming back from a trip of a lifetime this past September & there was NO WAY my financial planner was going to tell me it didn't fit in my plan (it's me, I'm my own financial planner 😉)

Having a financial plan in place is greatly important, I believe wholeheartedly in that & the impact it makes.

What I don't believe, is that a financial plan is simply a budget.
➡️In fact, I don't believe in budgets & don't create them for my clients.

Rather, we work on creating systems & structures to create a full plan that fits for you personally. Those pieces directly staying in line with your own goals..

Your goals aren't always simply..
➡️"Retire with - amount of money"
➡️"Have - amount in my savings account"

But are way deeper ➡️ what is important to you that money is involved in as you grow in life?

For me, one goal is to have a plan in place that allows me the freedom to travel & say yes to those opportunities.

Opportunities like going to Germany to celebrate my cousins wedding with my sisters.. Seeing the world to go from Frankfurt, Germany ➡️ Kandersteg, Switzerland ➡️ Zurich, Switzerland ➡️ Munich, Germany

Let's talk about your financial plan so can make sure you live your life during your working career & not just in retirement..
