The Children’s Online Privacy Statement explains our practices at Marine FCU. We understand how valuable and important privacy and online protection is for children and their parents. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires us to inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information about children under 13 years of age; and that we obtain the consent of a parent (or guardian) to allow the collection of certain information for children under 13 years of age. We only collect the amount of personal information that is reasonably necessary to allow a child’s participation in the online activities that Marine FCU’s page offers. Marine FCU may collect information on dates and times of visits, and number of page views. This information contains no personal information. It will only be used to track usage of our site and will help us to improve the overall value of our page. Visitor information is never sold. We will not condition the participation in an activity on the provision of more personal information than is necessary for our young members to participate in the activity. We will only use information to identify account holders and when applicable, winners of any contests designed for children.
