Here at Book-A-Load Logistics, we are striving to build long-lasting Partnerships with both, Shippers and Carriers. Our focus is not to profit as much as possible, it is to aim for harmonious longevity within the industry and we cannot do that without first building Trust.

Shippers and Carriers depend on Freight Brokers for the same service, to connect them with one another. Unfortunately, there are some Dispatchers and/or Freight Brokers who disrupt that connection with their ignorance of the Business Structure. It is the job of the Shipper and Carrier to properly vet the Freight Brokers they use.

Honesty, Knowledge, and Experience make up our recipe for Success. We consistently delve into Industry Topics and are on top of changes and updates. We educate our Customers and Carriers about the latest market changes and are realistic about our goals and abilities. We aim to "Move Logistics Forward" by understanding the dynamics of teamwork and collaboration between our Colleagues and Partners instead of making them the competition.

In addition to the prominent services we provide, we also stand on our Core Values and Ethics to ensure the proper flow of Industry Standards. We aim to be more than just an intermediary who finds resources for shippers and carriers. Our goal is to become ONE Team with ALL Parties!

"Yeah I believe it is time that the brokers themselves should be offering these so called Dispatch Services because I have been approached several times by these in my opinion illegal operations .These guys usually are of hard to understand dialect and openly tell you they get freight from brokers and then charge you yet an additional 10 percent of the already a 10 to 20% charge on the freight which cuts into the transport of 25% or more on the freight .
I myself don't trust them their not bonded and are functioning basically as a broker but not licensed as they should be. Just don't use them ,dispatch your own freight.
I also hope they start coming down on these illegal double brokering Dispatch Services."

*** FREIGHT BROKERS & DISPATCH SERVICES ***

"... To make that distinction, FMCSA listed six factors to help determine if a dispatch service needs broker authority. Such authority is needed if the dispatch service:

* Interacts or negotiates a shipment of freight directly with the shipper or a representative of the shipper.

* Accepts or takes compensation for a load from the broker or factoring company, or is involved in any part of the monetary transaction between any of those entities.

* Arranges for a shipment of freight for a motor carrier, with which there is no written legal contract with the motor carrier that meets the aforementioned criteria.

* Accepts a shipment without a truck/carrier then attempts to find a truck/carrier to move the shipment.

* Is a named party on the shipping contract.

* Is soliciting the open market of carriers for the purposes of transporting a freight shipment.

FMCSA’s guidelines clarify that dispatchers operating as an unauthorized broker carry civil penalties of up to $10,000 for each violation. "

FMCSA outlined criteria to help identify dispatching services from authorized truck brokers as part of new interim guidelines.
