🌊 Here's a myth that costs Florida homeowners dearly: "My homeowners policy covers flooding." It probably doesn't.

Standard homeowners policies exclude flood damage — including storm surge and rising water. In a place like Jacksonville, where heavy rain and tidal flooding are real, that's a big gap.
