Did you know you may have Glaucoma and not even know it? Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers glaucoma screenings once every 12 months if you are at high risk for developing the eye disease. If you get a glaucoma test and start treatment early, you may protect your eyes from serious vision loss. You are considered at high risk if one or more of the following conditions apply to you:

You have diabetes
You have a family history of glaucoma
You’re African American and age 50 or older
You’re Hispanic and age 65 or older
