Louise Street from the WGC points out that gold has historically grown at about 8% annually in USD terms. The Campden Wealth Family Office Gold survey, conducted by Adrian Murdoch, shows that many family offices now consider gold a strategic asset.

Dr. Oliver W. from SOLIT Management GmbH adds that gold serves as a hedge against inflation and a reliable tool for preserving wealth.
