I've had a vision for a few years now to host a women's financial empowerment event, and it's finally coming to fruition! Next Tuesday, Richard Allen and I will bring together local women in Tallahassee to discuss important topics around financial planning.

I am so passionate about making sure women have the knowledge and power to plan for their financial well-being, and I hope the conversations had at this event will spark that in our attendees. My hope is we all leave the evening with a few more connections and ideas for success- all while enjoying the lovely food and beverages at the Governors Club!

Earlier this week, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Diversity and Inclusion Summit hosted in Miami, FL. The week was filled with incredible speakers, networking, and fun! I'm honored to be part of the company's "IDEAL Program"- which includes selected managers from across the company focused on developing a diverse workforce- and we were able to have breakfast with our CEO, Mark Pearson. It was a privilege to get to know him on a personal level, and I'm proud to be with an organization whose executives are focused on breaking the industry standards.

Of course, I had a little fun too! If you know me, you know I can't turn down a dance floor- especially when I get a Salsa lesson (in front of the whole summit)!!
