This is what Coverage B is in your home insurance policy.

Other Structures coverage is the part of the policy that pays to repair, replace or rebuild structures on your property that are detached from your actual home and have been damaged by a covered peril. Think of fences, detached garages, sheds and gazebos.

In standard policies, other structures on your property are typically covered up to 10% of your dwelling limit. For example, if your dwelling coverage is $250,000, your other structures limit would be $25,000.
