John and Michele Shiflet started their insurance agency out of their home in 1991. Back then, it was literally a "home run" insurance agency. Today, HomeRun Financial and Insurance Services provides service to customers in all of Amador and Calaveras counties (and beyond). We separate ourselves from other agencies in that we can meet all of your insurance needs. We have specialists that work one on one with you to make sure that you are getting the best coverage at the most competitive price. HomeRun Insurance is a partner with you and your insurance exposures. In other words, we are in it with you. We live along side you in this small community and, as such, want to be your trusted partner today and far into the future. Our goal is to be the last agent you will ever need. John was born and raised in Florida where he attended college and received his bachelors degree in Business. He met the love of his life- Michele Galli - and together they raised 6 children in the county. He was a Vice President with Wells Fargo and Bank One where he managed Loan Recoveries and Trust Departments. He left banking for an opportunity in the family business - Galli Insurance. After a few years, he and his wife Michele started "HomeRun" which has now been in business for over 20 years. John writes all lines of insurance and financial services- and his wife Michele calls all the shots!
