Summer Intern Opportunity — Customer-Facing + Financial Services Exposure
This summer I’m looking for a sharp, personable intern to work in my Downtown Jackson office. This is not a “sit in the back and file papers” role. You’ll be customer-facing from day one and will get real exposure to how a modern insurance + financial services office runs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Calling and following up with customers in our book (one-by-one)
- Updating contact info, taking detailed notes, and documenting conversations
- Helping us identify needs and schedule reviews (no hard selling, but you must be comfortable talking to people)
- Learning the fundamentals of insurance, life protection, and financial services conversations
Who’s a fit:
- Likeable, confident, and able to build rapport quickly
- Strong phone skills (you don’t dread calling strangers)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Interested in business, sales, finance, or financial services
- Coachable, dependable, and professional
