I want to take a moment to congratulate my former team member, Ben Moss Lauderdale, on opening his own State Farm Agency in Brandon, MS this week.
Ben Moss worked with me for about four years, and I had the privilege of helping train and prepare him for the path to agency ownership. Watching him take this step is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. It’s easy to talk about “career paths” and “opportunity,” but it means something different when you actually see someone go do it.
I’m proud and grateful for the work he put in to help me grow my business, and just as proud of the fact that he’s now building something of his own. Moments like this remind me of the opportunity I was given through the Agent Aspirant program—and why I’ve always believed in paying that forward.
Our office has always been about more than just insurance. It’s about building skills, habits, and confidence that can carry someone into business ownership if that’s where they want to go.
