🌀 Hurricane Isaias is tracking toward the Gulf Coast, and the time to prepare is now.
Even if you're inland, the wind, heavy rain, and power outages can reach well beyond the center of the storm. Three things to do today:
1️⃣ Document your belongings. Walk through your home and take photos or video of each room and your valuables. Save them to your phone or the cloud so they're safe, whatever happens.
2️⃣ Pack your essentials. Gather water, non-perishable food, medications, flashlights, batteries, and important papers. Charge your phones and power banks, and know your evacuation route.
3️⃣ Secure your property. Bring in or tie down outdoor furniture, clear gutters and drains, and move vehicles to higher ground, away from trees and flood-prone areas.
📱 If you need to file a claim after the storm, you can do it through the State Farm® app or at statefarm.com. Have questions about your coverage? Call or message our office before the storm hits.
Stay safe, friends. We're here for you. 💙
