We have a choice in how we shape our relationship with eating, and I, for one, have gone on a long journey to get to my current outlook. I’ve found that when you can look at mealtime as a beautiful place to sate your appetite for both food and human connection, to enjoy and to appreciate the flavors and people that the world provides us, your appreciation for these things increases infinitely. It’s like a Thanksgiving toast: I am thankful for the food I have. I am thankful for the people that I’m with. I’m thankful for supper club. And this is what matters the most.
