Congratulations to Dr. Ron Meade, one of our 2026 PTK Alumni Hall of Honor recipients.

Dr. Ron Meade is a living legacy of excellence at Somerset Community College. From his time as a student and PTK member, to leading the Health Sciences Division as Dean and now serving as Provost, he has inspired students and employees toward excellence. He became a strong advocate of the College Project, creating a donation drive partnership through the Share and Care food and supply pantry. He consistently challenges teams not simply to meet goals, but to become what he calls national models of excellence.

Congratulations to Dr. Cindy Lee, one of our 2026 PTK Alumni Hall of Honor recipients.

One of the most impactful ways Dr. Cindy Lee empowers PTK members at Tallahassee State College is through personal mentorship in academic research. She works closely with students to strengthen their critical thinking, writing and presentation skills while helping them identify meaningful research topic and clarify their academic goals. Through her mentorship, several PTK students have gained acceptance to highlight competitive institutions including Florida State University and Princeton University. Dr. Lee encourages students to aim behond their perceived limits, helping them build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of purpose in their education.
