Our office will be closing at 2:00 Friday May 22 and reopening Tuesday morning May 26. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend. We are SO THANKFUL to all who have served.

We are receiving so many calls lately from clients being dropped by their insurance carrier due to frequent claims. What most customers don’t realize is multiple claims in a 5 year period can and most likely will result in your home or auto insurance coverage to be cancelled, resulting in having to scramble for coverage and paying much more premiums for insurance. We strive to educate our clients on when to file a claim and when it’s best to avoid filing a claim. Having an agent help guide you is essential.

Apparently the “door knocker” contractors are out again going door to door asking to look at homeowners roofs. Please remember that many of these contractors will mislead clients by telling them to sign an agreement giving them permission to “inspect their roof” and try to rush the client into signing this without explaining the full contract. We recommend you ALWAYS read a contract before signing it. When in doubt be sure to talk to your local insurance agent before signing it, especially if you don’t know the contractor. Most all agents know the ones out there that try to mislead clients and say there’s damage when there really isn’t or lick you in to only using them or paying them a fee. . If you do talk to any of the
door knockers” make sure your video camera or cell phone records the entire conversation and read that contract.
