What an amazing day celebrating rich culture, heritage, and community! We were thrilled to be part of the Nepal Day Parade in PA's state capital, organized by the NRNA NCC of USA.

Seeing the vibrant, growing Nepali population in Pennsylvania come together with so much enthusiasm to showcase their beautiful traditions was unforgettable. EFCU remains fully committed to supporting and uplifting the diverse cultures that make our community so strong. 💪✨

Celebrating our founding members is always a profound reminder of where we started and how far we’ve come, and this month’s Founding Members Recognition Month Luncheon in New York was truly exceptional! We were deeply honored to host this gathering in the very birthplace of EFCU, drawing a remarkable and large presence from across our community. For a financial institution like EFCU, founding members are not just historical figures—they are the bedrock of our institution, whose initial vision, trust, and dedication created the collaborative financial framework we all benefit from today. The room was filled with the incredible leadership that shaped our history and continues to guide our future, including our former Chairman, former CEO, current board members, and various committee members, alongside our dedicated everyday members.

During the luncheon, our CEO provided a comprehensive update on the exciting current status of EFCU and our latest product offerings designed to better serve you. True to our cooperative spirit, the event became a wonderful forum for open dialogue as all present members shared their valuable concerns and insightful advice for our upcoming journey. It was also inspiring to see the next generation stepping up, with several young volunteers in attendance whose hard work and energy we proudly recognized. Finally, our EFCU family continues to grow! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our three newest founding members from New York: acharya, Parashu Panthi, and Dilliram Dhungana. Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to make EFCU a strong, member-first community! Today on his trip to the West Coast, our CEO Suman Timsina he came across Kathmandu MoMo house and had the pleasure of meeting Gokarna Tandon, a dynamic young entrepreneur who owns both Kathmandu MoMo house and Kathmandu Bistro. Suman learned that Rapid City—the lively City of Presidents—is now home to about 90+ Nepalis who collectively own multiple vibrant restaurants. It is incredibly inspiring to see Nepali entrepreneurs thriving in every corner of the country, and we certainly hope Everest Federal Credit Union does business with all of them in the future! Right before leaving the city limits, he spotted a sign for "Everest Rd" and just had to capture the moment. It looks like the Everest road that began in New York has officially been paved all the way to South Dakota! Check out the photo from his memorable stop.
