We're HUGE animal lovers at True Insurance, and each week we highlight a TRUE-ly adoptable pet 💙at the SPCA of Tompkins County.

Duke is looking for an easy-going, mellow household, one where where he can enjoy some excellent outdoor excursions ... and then take time to recharge. Duke isn't a very big fan of hugs and his ears can be sensitive, so he'd prefer a home with older kids who understand that showing affection can take the form of praise, treats and recreational time outside. He appreciates friends who respect his personal boundaries and need for downtime when playtime is over, so if you have a dog who's of a similar mindset, they may very well become good friends!

We're HUGE animal lovers at True Insurance, and each week we highlight a TRUE-ly adoptable pet 💙at the SPCA of Tompkins County.

Nova is a wonderfully lively and playful three-year-old girl. She's always up for a good sniffscursion and is a huge fan of playtime in the yard. She got along well with other animals in her previous home. She even has some crate experience. Nova came to the shelter because she had some difficulty scaling back her LET'S GO energy level to match her former family's smaller child, so we'd love to find her a home with older kids.
