It was great to see all the Women's Initiative members at our Women's History Month program, Flying High: Betty the Pan Am Stewardess. Leslie Goddard Goddard Presents did a terrific job portraying the 1960's stewardess. She had us laughing and gasping as she told the true stories of what it was like to work for Pan Am airlines in the golden age of travel. Thank you to Bloomingdale Golf Club for their hospitality and delicious continental breakfast spread. It was the perfect program to kick off the year!

When most people think of the Underground Railroad, they picture Harriet Tubman and other abolitionists taking enslaved people through forests and over mountains. What’s less known is that many freedom seekers escaped by water via the Great Lakes. You’ll hear the powerful and often harrowing stories of those freedom seekers—and the abolitionists who risked everything to help them cross the Great Lakes.
This program will be held on Zoom, and there is no charge. For more information and to register, click here https://bit.ly/WomensInitiativeProgram

Let's take a moment to reflect on what Diane Middlebrooks has accomplished in 25 years at Itasca Bank & Trust Co., as we say goodbye and offer our best wishes for a happy retirement.

After 25 years of dedication, we celebrate the remarkable career of Diane Middlebrooks, our Women’s Initiative Coordinator.

From the beginning, Diane poured her heart into building and nurturing the Women’s Initiative, expanding its reach across the Chicago market and earning recognition for both the program and Itasca Bank & Trust Co. Beyond this unique initiative, she also served as a senior officer until 2011, overseeing the Bank’s marketing strategy, leaving a lasting mark on our brand and community presence.

Her commitment to professionalism, mission, and impact has shaped a program unlike any other. We are grateful for her leadership, vision, and the legacy she leaves behind.

Please join us in congratulating Diane on her extraordinary career!
