Goldwater Bank is announcing the appointment of Mr. Peter Hill to the position of Chief Executive Officer of our bank. Mr. Hill has been in banking for 45 years, serving the Arizona market in positions ranging from Loan Officer to Chief Credit Officer, to President and covering a full range of lending disciplines.
Mr. Hill joined Goldwater Bank in March 2020 as Chief Credit Officer and was appointed President in July 2021. Today, he is leading the effort to position the bank as a leading Arizona based community bank, focusing on the growth of deposits and all lending activities across the State.
A proud alumnus of Arizona State University, Mr. Hill holds a BS in Finance and an MBA. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Pursuing personal interests Mr. Hill completed a BA in Anthropology at Arizona State University in 2019.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Hill is deeply rooted in community service. Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to various organizations, including the American Cancer Society, The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix Finance Council and Schools Board, the Risk Management Association, and numerous economic and business development efforts. Currently, he serves as Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Arizona Bankers Association.
