Richard J. Ward, CFP, First Vice President/Investments - Stifel Comprehensive Financial Services, Wealth Management I generally work with two types of people. After hours by appointment only. Stifel Financial Corp.

With more than 35 years’ experience, I understand that successful people have little interest in the traditional idea of retirement, which is where they give up what they've done, loved, and been good at for many years, and instead are put out to pasture, become irrelevant, and start down the path of decline. I also understand that accomplished people can find great rewards in these years when the

ir purpose has shifted to making a difference in the lives of others. As a financial advisor, I focus on helping successful people pursue the many opportunities for significance in their second halves, as they become engaged as contributors who change lives for the better. First are those who've planned well and feel secure, but who are wondering if there is more for their future or if they don't need a higher level of guidance. The second are those who, understandably, haven't wanted to consider this dismal, declining future, or who haven't found good help to pursue a better alternative. These are often Baby Boomer business owners or executives considering a transition out of the business world but are not sure what's next. It could also be mid-career people who just want to get started planning for their future. I help them explore the opportunities for significance in the second half of life, and provide the planning and other financial services to turn these opportunities into reality for themselves, their families, and the causes they care about. If you'd like to learn how to find significance for your second half, shoot me a message. and its affiliated companies (“Stifel”) reserve the right to retain, monitor, and reproduce all electronic communications consistent with applicable law. is the parent company of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, Member SIPC & NYSE.
