Another milestone for the PFD Family of Companies.

PFD recently announced the closing of PFDSelect Medical Receivables 1018, LLC (PFDSMR1018), the 17th SPE in our 1000 Series.

What makes this milestone particularly meaningful is the participation behind it: 99 investors joined the offering, including 75 investors who were new to PFD and 24 existing investors who chose to participate again. We were also pleased to welcome 34 new investors through referrals.

As our platform continues to grow, we remain focused on the same priorities that have guided us from the beginning: supporting medical service providers, maintaining disciplined operations, and building long-term relationships based on communication, transparency, and trust.

Happy Tuesday! Some of our IRA investors have recently received a notice about K-1s and potential UBIT (Unrelated Business Taxable Income).
This is a standard custodian communication—not specific to PFD—and we want to provide some clarity.
Here’s what matters:
• These notices are routinely sent when an IRA investment issues a K-1
• UBIT generally applies to active business income or leveraged income
• PFD investors are passive limited partners (no control or management rights)
• Based on counsel and CPA guidance, UBIT is not expected to apply
• IRA-related K-1s should not be included on your personal tax return
As always, you can share your K-1 with your tax advisor for confirmation.
