Each year, The Miners State Bank awards the GRIT Scholarship to student athletes who have overcome adversity, exhibited courage through difficult situations, or performed admirably after recovering from a severe injury. Each winner receives a $2,500 scholarship to use towards their future studies.

In honor of National Small Business Week, The Miners State Bank treated employees to lunch from Gravedoni's Pizza & Sandwiches in Negaunee as well as Mr.T's Family Restaurant,
The Pasty Corner, and Delightful Desserts in Iron River. Our Houghton County employees enjoyed dinner at Gino's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge in Hancock. In Ontonagon, we brought Northland Electric a thank you for all they do for the community. Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities in the Upper Peninsula and we are grateful for them all! 🤩🏘️
