The Copper Country Farm Bureau annual meeting will be held on Tuesday September 23rd. There was an incorrect date on the recent postcards that were sent out to all regular members. The attached letter has more information. Please call Judy or Shannon with any questions.

We are looking for Farm Bureau volunteers for the UP State Fair Miracle of Life tent on Friday Aug 15th! Receive a free pass to get into the fair when you volunteer for a min of 2 hours. Comment below if you would like more information or if you are able to help.

Reminder Farm on the Town is taking place this Saturday in the parking lot of Sunflower Books and Coffee. Volunteers are needed to help set up (arrive about 8:30), work the stations (10-2) and pick up the tents (2-3). Please let us know if you are available to help with any of these needs.

Copper Country Farm Bureau Membership Day is coming up! If you have not yet RSVP'ed, please note they are required by Friday March 14th to make sure we have enough food at either event. Lunch @ Syl's in Ontonagon, Dinner @ Skyline Commons (old Jutila Center) in Hancock.

Copper Country Farm Bureau will be hosting a Dinner on the Farm event on October 15th that we are in need of additional help for. We need individuals who are willing to take the lead planning/organizing certain aspects of the event beforehand as well as individuals who could possibly help the day of. There will be a Farm Bureau event planning meeting on Friday Feb 23rd at 5:15pm at the Nara Center.
Reading Month, April Meet & Greet Dinner, Farm on the Town, Connecting Communities grant, Young Farmer, Fair and other items will be discussed.
All Copper Country Farm Bureau members are welcome to attend.

Are you a Farm Bureau member? If that answer is no, now is the time to join! You do not need insurance through Farm bureau to be a local farm bureau member.
Copper Country Farm Bureau is made up of individuals involved in all aspects of agriculture who want to share knowledge and have an interest in the future of agriculture.
Members plan Farm on the Town, host workshops, have annual meetings, help at the UP fair miracle of life tent, and have the opportunity to attend state and national events.
The first five people to sign up by noon tomorrow at www.michfb.com/join, and approved as a regular member, will receive $10 back!
