Now that we are into rain and snow season, a reminder to turn off the cruise control!! It can be dangerous to use cruise control in the rain and snow because it increases the risk of losing control of your vehicle, especially if you hydroplane. Maintaining constant speed with cruise control can make it harder to react quickly to hazards, and your tires may not have as much traction as they would with your foot on the accelerator. It is safer to turn off cruise control in wet conditions. Be cautious and safe out on the highways!!!

Always be proactive instead of reactive… in the case of a sump pump fail or sewer backup or ground water invading your home… make sure the items you store are organized and stored in tubs and off the ground… cardboard boxes are the worst for basement storage…
