Edward Jones - Financial Advisor Bill Collin

Edward Jones - Financial Advisor Bill Collin We help clients Organize, Build, Protect & Transfer their wealth. Every thing we do - is about you.

We start our process by really listening so we can understand your true needs, as well as those of your family or business. We then create and implement holistic strategies to guide informed financial decisions and help avoid common mistakes. I've furthered my education by earning the Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional™ designation to coach you through the entire process with a smart, fact

s-first approach. Finally, we can connect with your professional partners to address your tax and estate advice needs to help protect your family's legacy and life's work. Our focus is working with those who, like us, have moved Up North for retirement, but are excited to meet new friends and neighbors from all walks of life. Whether you're just getting started, have already settled in, or simply don't want to leave your money behind at an impersonal 401(k), with a previous or retiring advisor, we'd love to talk to you about being part of our local small business family. The first step is all yours: Drop by for coffee, call, message or email, and we'll take time to discuss your unique situation and "what you want to be when you retire." About me:

I chose Interlochen for my business to join a community where I can have a real local impact. I serve on the Interlochen Downtown Development Authority, Chamber of Commerce and Frankfort Rotary Club. I support the Green Lake & Duck Lake Association, Economic Club of Traverse City and Traverse Connect, as well as many local charities. I joined Edward Jones after working for several Fortune 500 companies and navigated the move Up North from Midland, Michigan, eight years ago. We know the challenges of finding all the new things you need and can share our connections. My wife, Viola, is a retired public school teacher who now supports educators with health insurance. We enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan and are passionate about cooking, wine, golf, gardening and spending time with our two adult daughters and three amazing grandsons. Member SIPC

In conversations with clients, one topic comes up over and over again: staying independent later in life.

Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month is a good reminder that there are things within our control. Healthy habits, like staying active, managing blood pressure, eating well and continuing to challenge your mind, can support brain health over time, potentially increasing the probability of staying independent for longer.

Pair that with a plan that prepares for the unexpected, and you’re in a stronger position for the future.

If you’d like to talk through your plan, I’m here.

Many retirees look forward to traveling more in retirement — and the most enjoyable trips often start with a plan. Thinking ahead about how you want to travel, budgeting for the unexpected and prioritizing comfort can make a big difference in both cost and enjoyment.

With fewer calendar constraints and greater flexibility, travel may suddenly feel more possible in retirement.www.edwardjones.com/us-en
