The City of Indianola, in collaboration with Indianola Main Street, participating property owners and project contractors, is preparing to begin revitalization efforts for eight buildings in the Indianola Downtown Square as part of the Community Development Block Grant program.

Work is anticipated to start the week of May 11, 2026, and continue for approximately 13 months. During this time, residents and visitors may see periodic sidewalk closures, limited parking and temporary changes to access near construction areas.
